Who the home reading program is for
The program is designed for beginning readers in Pre-K through Grade 2 and is organized around reading readiness rather than a single starting age. A child does not need to know every letter name before beginning; Lesson 1 teaches its first sounds from scratch.
The curriculum uses explicit, systematic phonics and a visually stable interface. An SLI accommodations mode is also available for children with speech sound disorders, apraxia, or expressive language delays. The app is an instructional tool, not a replacement for an evaluation or individualized services when a child needs them.
